ZZTop was predictable
Riley Green began the show by rockin' extremely hard with a couple of cuts from the newest release, especially "I gotsta get paid" which shredded. Jeff didn't play any of his signature songs like Freeway jam, ambitious, Becks bolero, Goodbye Porkpie hat, none of them except "Goin' down". It shouldn't mean that much, but we were really hoping JB was still with Tal, but she wasn't. His set didn't even last much more than an hour. His set lists were geared towards the uppity type of crowd the winery attracts, but not the hard rockin' set lists a lot of us were hoping for. But sadly, they also moved on to nearly nothin' but FM favorites, at least 3 cuts from Eliminator alone, but nothin' from their other huge albums and nothin' from Deguello!! He didn't even play an encore. All in all, it was a fun event at the winery, but the bummer.
